I can't believe that our little guy is already a year old! Seriously where did that year go?!
We threw an awesome birthday party for him over at
his Grumpy's house and had a good 'ol time! It was Thursday,
April 4th on his actual birthday.
Dylan spend most of his time chasing all the colorful balloons around the house and playing with his favorite truck.
We served some delicious nachos..they really were so good!
Thanks to Justin's aunt Alicia and his cousin Cyndi we
were able to have so much good food. There is no way
I would have been able to do it all on my own!
Dylan was pretty funny about being free to go all
out with his cake. At first he looked like he was going
to tear the whole thing apart but then he stopped,
looked around, and started trying to hand cake to people standing
around him. What a thoughtful little guy.
He definitely had a lot of fun shoving cake in Dad's face.
This is one lucky boy cause he got so many presents he
didn't know what to do with them all!
Oh and at the end of the party I showed everyone
the 30 minute, yes 30 whole minute slideshow I
made of Dylan's first year. There were so many pictures
and videos from the past year and it was so
hard to leave so many out!
The party was a huge success! :)
But just wait, the partying didn't stop there.....
The Saturday right after his birthday we drove out
to Espanola where his mother threw Dylan
his second birthday party! It was a combined party for
him and his Uncle Tyler who was turning 17 on the 9th!
He had a blast playing with his little cousins
and loved spending time with his Abuelita.
His Abuelita rented a big fun jumper for the kids
to play on but Dylan was too scared of it to join in.
His first pinata! He wasn't sure what was going
on at first but after he watched all the other little
kids swinging at it he was pretty excited.
Now this boy really doesn't know what to do with all
of the presents he got! He is such a blessed boy
with so much family that love him so much.
This past year was the best ever with him
and we are looking forward to the many more!
